What were your reasons for the new building?
We had recently moved into our new home, and there was no natural separation between the Kitchen and Lounge; the Orangery has given us more space and made the flow of our home more natural.
Had you already decided on the type of building?
Yes, having seen our friend’s structure, we had already decided on the rough layout and design of the new Orangery; The Oak Glasshouse Company did a great job and essentially made our ideas come to life.
Do you have a favourite feature?
The whole building is exactly as we envisioned; Jim’s attention to detail throughout the initial meetings and during the build process ensured the finished Orangery accurately portrayed the building in our mind’s eye. We particularly like the exposed Oak beams and direct glazing; the building is a well-cut, modern-looking design.

Everything is completed to the highest possible standard; having experienced other companies in the Oak Building field, there was really no comparison. The Oak Glasshouse Company are highly professional and concise. Jim picks up on small details and ensures his team execute the design flawlessly.
