Oak Orangeries
Customers often ask us what the differences are between the various styles of our oak framed buildings, common questions include what is Oak Garden Room? How does it differ to an Oak Extension, the same is true of Oak Orangeries.
Although no two of our bespoke Oak Buildings are the same, an Oak orangery can be defined in the following way. An Oak Extension or Garden room with a pitched mansard or flat roof incorporating a glass roof light or lantern.
This type of installation is increasing in popularity as the roof lantern serves to bathe the room in glorious natural light. Oak orangeries can be used for a multitude of everyday purposes including Kitchen and living areas.
As with all of our buildings the installation can be coupled with modern bi fold or more traditional French doors, along with any number of window styles.
Each Oak Orangery is created entirely to your requirements. The first step is to book your no-obligation site survey. The visit involves discussions on how you live, what you from the new space, how much light you want to come in and how the new space will integrate with your garden.
Although you may not realise it, from these discussions and the answers you give, you are designing your new extension along with us. As you explain more of your ideas and how you want to use the space, certain things about the design become clear and help us to deliver the lifestyle you wish to achieve.
